Walking as Dear Children of God

“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.”

— Ephesians 5:1 (NKJV)

To imitate God is to reflect His heart in the way we think, speak, and live. Just as children naturally mirror the character and habits of a loving parent, we are invited to model our lives after His compassion, patience, forgiveness, and truth. This calling is not about striving for perfection in our own strength, but about surrendering daily and allowing His Spirit to shape us. When we choose kindness over harshness, grace over offense, and faith over fear, we reveal His likeness to the world around us.

Being called dear children means we are deeply loved, fully accepted, and never abandoned. From that place of security, we can live boldly and generously. Even when we fall short, His mercy lifts us and sets us back on the path. As we grow in His love, our lives become a reflection of His light, drawing others toward hope, peace, and the beauty of a Father whose character is always good. GOD bless, share with your family and friends.
