“Where, When, How And Why Test"

Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).

Your faith will be tested in four different ways. If you’re in the

1 - "Where? Test,” you are asking God where you should live, go to work or school, plug into church, or meet new people.

God is telling you, “Get moving. Do what you already know is right, necessary or best and I will show you the rest along the way.”

2 - "The “When? Test” stretches your patience because you are waiting on God. You’ve been praying, “God, I need your help! When are you going to answer?” God says, “Trust me, for my timing is perfect.”

You are experiencing the

3 - “ How? Test” when facing an impossible situation. You are wondering how to get out of debt, parent a difficult child. God says, “trust me because I am bigger than your circumstances.”

4 - "The “Why? Test” is the ultimate trial for your faith. In these situations, things don’t make sense and you are looking for answers. You may be grieving over a particular person or a pointless tragedy, and your heart is broken, but in these moments, God is saying, “I’m right here beside you. Trust me.”

The Bible tells us about a Roman soldier who faced the “How? Test. “ His son needed healing, so he brought him to Jesus and said, “ Lord, help my son—-if you can.” Jesus said, if you believe, anything is possible.” The man replied, “I believe; help my unbelief!” What a great prayer! The man believed in Jesus, but he knew he needed God to help his faith grow.

Tests are uncomfortable, but they reveal our progress. When God is testing you, he’s working to draw you closer to Him. Today, are you being tested?

Make this your prayer, “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief.”
