The True Riches That Lead to Life

24 And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!”

Mark 10:24 (NKJV)

Jesus reminds us that the danger is not simply having riches, but trusting in them more than trusting in God. Wealth, success, accomplishments, and even good works can never secure eternal life. Human effort will always fall short of the holiness required to enter heaven. That is why salvation is such a gift of grace. We are not saved because of the riches of our works, but because of the riches of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.

There is freedom in knowing that your hope does not rest in how much you own or even how perfectly you perform. Your confidence can rest fully in the mercy, love, and righteousness of Christ. He became what we could never be on our own so that through Him we could receive eternal life. When your heart trusts in Jesus instead of earthly treasures, you begin to discover a peace and security that the world can never offer.

So walk forward today with gratitude and humility, remembering that heaven is not earned by human achievement. It is received through faith in the One whose riches never fade. The grace of Jesus is greater than every failure, stronger than every fear, and more valuable than anything this world could ever place in your hands. GOD bless, share with your family and friends.
