Read, Learned And Applied

Mathew 7:24-25 - “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

We fool ourselves when we assume that just because we’ve heard or read or studied a biblical truth, we’ve also internalized it, making it part of how we live our lives.

We can be so busy going to the next class or seminar or Bible conference, that we take little time to implement what we’ve learned from God’s Word. Unless you apply what you’ve learned from the Bible—allowing it to change the way you live and letting it mature you as a believer—-all your studies are worthless. That’s why Satan doesn’t mind you being in a Bible study as long as the Bible doesn’t end up in you!

He doesn’t care what you know as long as you don’t do anything with it.

Jesus told a parable about two builders. One built his house on rock, the other built on sand. When the storm hit both houses, only one stood: the house built on rock. The way you build your life on the rock is to hear Jesus’ words and put them into practice.

Jesus said God’s blessing comes from obeying the truth, not just knowing it. GOD bless share with your family and friends.
