United in Blessing

24 In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land,

25 whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”

This powerful prophecy reminds us that God's heart transcends national boundaries and historical divisions. In a region long marked by conflict, God declares a future where former enemies stand together—not in opposition, but in unity under His blessing. Egypt, Assyria, and Israel—three distinct nations—are each given a place of honor in God's redemptive plan. It speaks to the wideness of His mercy and the power of reconciliation that only He can bring.

Today, this message calls us to hope and to work for peace, trusting that God's purposes are always greater than what we see. No person, nation, or people group is beyond His reach or His grace. Just as He once promised unity and blessing among these ancient powers, He is still in the business of restoring what is broken, healing what is divided, and drawing all people to Himself.
