Stay Connected, Not Isolated

“A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment.”

— Proverbs 18:1 (NKJV)

This verse reminds us of the danger in withdrawing from community and godly counsel. Isolation may seem like a safe haven in times of frustration or pride, but it often leads to spiritual blindness and poor decisions. Seeking only our own desires blinds us to wisdom and accountability, and can lead us away from the truth that brings healing and growth.

Instead, we are called to walk in humility and connection. God places people in our lives—friends, mentors, spiritual leaders—not to control us, but to guide, challenge, and uplift us. When we allow others to speak into our lives with love and truth, we open the door to deeper growth and discernment. We become stronger together.

Even if you’ve withdrawn, it's never too late to reconnect. Reach out. Ask for prayer. Share your heart with someone who walks with God. You are not meant to walk this journey alone. There is wisdom in community, and peace in walking in step with God's truth. GOD bless, share with your family and friends.
