12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 7:12 (NKJV)
Jesus gathers the whole heart of God’s instruction into a single, powerful principle. The Golden Rule calls us to move beyond mere avoidance of harm and into intentional goodness. It invites us to look at others not as obstacles, competitors, or strangers, but as people whose hopes, fears, and needs mirror our own. When we act with the same patience, honesty, and mercy we long to receive, we reflect the character of God in everyday life.
Living this way is not always easy, especially when kindness feels undeserved or inconvenient. Yet this teaching reminds us that love is not meant to be reactive but purposeful. Each act of grace, even the quiet ones no one notices, becomes a seed planted in faith. As we choose to treat others with dignity and compassion, we participate in God’s design for restoring hearts, strengthening communities, and turning ordinary moments into testimonies of His love. GOD bless, share family and friends.
