Feeling A Little Pressured?

Hebrews 12:1-2

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him ENDURED THE CROSS, despising the shame, and is SET DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE THRONE OF GOD.

I believe that just about every one of us whether lost or saved, it really doesn't matter, have experienced a “long night of the soul” as they say, we realize that there is a limit to our ability to live without joy. But wait! even Jesus Christ could endure the cross because of the JOY that was set before Him.

God knows exactly how much pressure each one of us can take, He knows how long we can endure the night, and He knows how to give relief to our soul.

The pressure is high -- He starts out by giving us a little glimpse of the morning stars and the light that shines and from the horizon ww see the morning begins to break as the Sun begins to rise. It seems as if it will not come fast enough, but it comes and that's when we discover God's love in our suffering.

Sometimes pain can do what joy cannot - considering life on earth is merely vanity of vanities, but our soul longs for the peace of Heaven. Well, you can have that right now.

Eph.2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Enjoy every moment with Jesus.
