Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
— Revelation 3:20 (NKJV)
In the ancient world, "breaking bread" wasn't just about satisfying hunger. To let someone into your home and share a meal that would otherwise be reserved for family was no small matter. It symbolized friendship, unity, and acceptance. To break bread with someone meant you were at peace with them. This is exactly the kind of intimate relationship God desires to have with us.
Jesus isn’t merely inviting us to a meal—He’s inviting us into communion. When He knocks, He’s not demanding entrance; He’s extending a personal invitation to fellowship, to slow down and sit with Him. It's in these quiet, shared moments with Him that our hearts are nourished, our burdens lifted, and our identities affirmed. GOD bless share with your family and friends.
