Crucified Daily With Christ.

Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself.

The apostle Paul knew all about that. He called it “the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings.” Phil.3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

I believe that one of the reasons we exhibit very little spiritual power is because we are unwilling to accept and experience the fellowship of Christ sufferings – in other words the acceptance of His cross – being made conformable unto His death.

Oh, we accept His cross as the payment for our sins but not always do we do not accept this cross when it comes to suffering.

How can we have and know true intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ if we are unwilling to take the route which He has walked?

How can we say, “I follow Christ?”

We say we follow Christ but not in His sufferings.

We do not have a blessed intimacy with Christ because we refuse to relate “the will of God” to the cross.

Do we deserve better things then what Christ received?

Are we ready for what the cross brings?
